Dr Terry Maguire is an Irish educator and senior manager who is actively committed to how teaching and learning can transform individual lives. Since 2013 she has led the establishment and development of the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning now regarded as an essential component of the national-level infrastructure for higher education in Ireland (www.teachingandlearning.ie). Terry worked in higher education in Scotland focusing on flexible and online learning. She held the post as Head of lifelong Learning in TU Dublin, Tallaght Campus, Ireland for a number of years. Terry has a particular research interest in professional development and adult mathematics education.
