Janne Loikkanen works as a careers specialist in the Finnish University of Turku. Janne has extensive experience as employability expert in higher education field. During the last decade he has created paths for students from different academic background to cultivate their skills within companies abroad and has successfully implemented EU-programmes to support university strategy. Janne has also years of experience from student counseling and couching, especially career counseling theories and practice.
Janne completed his MSc. in Sociology from the University of Turku and has previously acquired a BBA in Service Management – a field where he gathered management experience in several SMEs before joining the university.
Since 2018 Janne has acted as a Vice-Chair in Coimbra Group’s Employability working group. He is passionate about European co-operation in his field and believes that it is an essential way to have a positive impact throughout Europe to tackle the youth employment challenges of the continent.
